Apparently, genealogy accounts for a large portion of internet traffic, and there is a correspondingly huge number of web sites and other resources. Unfortunately, much of the material focuses on USA content, but there are still plenty of rich resources for those of us in other countries. This page lists some of the links I have found useful. Of course, it focuses on New Zealand and England as that is where my ancestors are from. Thanks. Alternatively, just use a search engine, and enter the surname you are looking for and the place of birth or where they lived. Also try including the word born, as this often narrows the results down to genealogically interesting sites. | ||
