Two of my g grandmothers with the same maiden surname; Alice Berry and Minnie Crane Berry. So far, we haven't found an earlier link between these two families.

Minnie Crane Berry was born in 1869 at Wakapuaka, just north of Nelson, daughter of William Henry and Eliza (nee Crane) Berry. In 1896, Minnie married Robert Henry Emms in Christchurch.

In the other Berry family, Frederick Berry (1845-1906?) was born in London, England. In 1876, he married Sarah Ann Wainwright (1858-1936) in Springston, NZ. Sarah Ann and her parents, Charles and Sarah (nee Keeling) Wainwright had come from Nottinghamshire to NZ aboard the Cresswell, arriving at Lyttelton in 1859.
In 1906, their daughter Alice (1887-1958) married George Ernest Morris (my g grandad) at Ashburton. Particulars from their marriage certificate are reproduced below. (Certificate reference 1906/2878)
